XL LVT flooring

Traviata Flooring, one of South Africa’s largest importers and wholesalers of wood and vinyl flooring products and systems, has recently introduced a new product which is being celebrated as the latest advancement in LVT (luxury vinyl tile) flooring technology. The product is called “Traviloc XL – RCB” and features the well-known ceramic bead-enhanced wear layer that the Traviloc range is famous for, along with a variety of other exciting additions.

Function meets design
“Traviloc XL – RCB” is 100% waterproof and boasts a RCB (rigid core board). This new core board offers exceptional dimensional stability to the extent that it is now possible to install up to 400m² of the flooring without the need for any unsightly expansion profiles, offering flexibility and better value for money. Combine this incredible functionality with the extra-long and wide plank format, high definition visuals and rich surface textures and it is easy to see why countless contractors, designers and architects are turning to the XL – RCB to help meet the growing demand for high quality commercial spaces.

“Superior stain, fade and wear resistance, the beauty of hardwood and the durability of an LVT means the latest version of Traviloc is ideally suited to all hospitality, corporate, retail, educational, medical and residential installations,” says Hugh Krog, commercial manager of Traviata Flooring.

Acoustic Properties
Contractors and designers will also be pleased to discover that the XL – RCB is a type of acoustic flooring, ultimately aiding in noise reduction in even the loudest of workspaces.

“The product features a pre-attached premium quality sound mitigating underlay, which allows for a quiet in-room environment. For multi-level construction, typical of office or hotel accommodation, there is the added benefit of a significant reduction in floor to floor noise transfer,” adds Krog.

Ease of installation is another stand-out feature, with the XL – RCB fitting over the majority of firm surfaces.
