New, vibrant wallpaper collection gets launched in South Africa.
Wallpaper collection inspired by a festival of colour
South African wall coverings company, Wall Design, recently announced the launch of 3 new wallpaper collections under their Symphony brand. The new collections offer architects, designers and contractors ultimate flexibility and options in terms of colour, designs and patterns.
The decorative, durable brand’s latest collections include three designs – namely Shennai, Shennai Texture and Sarinda – that come in a variety of tones and colours.
Sarinda’s patterns were inspired by the Indian festival of Holi, which is the festival of colour. The tactile quality of concrete and stone is apparent in the colourful, rich pigment of the design. The way in which the colours blend together balances its impressive scale to create a dynamic wall statement.
Shennai’s inspiration stems from Henna paintings, giving it a delicate balance of line-work with rich, saturated colours influenced by spice tones. Edgy colours such as burning pink and peacock next to more traditional colours such as golden beige and taupe ensure a unique mixture of colour. The last collection, Shennai texture, combines warm fabric and refined embossed texture with metallic flecks that just flicker along the wall. With 18 tones and colours to choose from, Shennai texture offers something for everybody.
“We believe in bringing new wallpaper collections to South Africa as quickly as possible after their United States launches, as this enables design professionals in South Africa to stay ahead of the pack and produce on-trend specifications,” commented Jacques Lombard, director of Wall Design.
All Symphony and J. Josephson’s Wallcoverings are exclusively distributed by Wall Design and are available throughout Southern Africa.
