Unusual building materials used to create an absorbing focal point
A deep appreciation for authentic vintage, reclaimed building materials has driven this family business for 60 years.
In addition to the carefully selected assortment of teak and oregon doors and windows, Build Antique has a workshop where tabletops are crafted, amendments are made to clients’ doors and new door frames are produced in oregon. Victorian cast iron, timber and antique floor tiles are also part of the stunning collection.

Vintage pieces create an absorbing focal point, adding flair to the overall designs.
Personalised service
Build Antique’s siblings, Antonio and Giovanna Gerbi, source salvaged pieces from around the country and overseas to keep their stock of previously loved items fresh and interesting. Personalised service ensures that clients get the right fit.
“Our clients have the vision to incorporate vintage pieces to create an absorbing focal point in their new homes. Our 3m-tall doors are bound to make a grand entrance,” says Giovanna.

Salvaged pieces are sourced from around the country and overseas.
A vintage heritage
Originally started by their father, the duo took over the business from their late brother, Saverio, who adored building materials with character.
“We want to continue providing unusual building materials to our clients and carry on what our late father and brother started. The love of all that is old is in our genes,” Giovanna concludes.

The Build Antique collection includes 100-year-old cast iron columns.
Build Antique ships countrywide, as well as to neighbouring countries.
A love of reclaimed and vintage building materials is central to family-owned Build Antique, which stocks a range of locally and internationally sourced salvaged pieces.
