In recognition of Women’s Month in August, to raise awareness about gender-based violence and to support breast cancer awareness, Den Braven South Africa has launched a feminine new lilac packaging for its bestselling Acryl-W Sealant.

With our country’s women and girls facing daily struggles in an especially rife culture of gender-based violence, Den Braven aims to shine a spotlight on the continued abuses against women – exacerbated by Covid-19 – while hoping to bring about much-needed social change in our communities.

Coupled with this, as breast cancer is one of the most common cancers in South Africa, Den Braven has also given its support to the The PinkDrive and aims to raise funds and support for this organisation committed to raising awareness about the importance of early detection of breast cancer.

Colene Baker, managing director of Den Braven Sealants, salutes the many highly regarded women who have already broken the mould of a traditionally male-dominated building and construction industry. She is also passionate about sharing the often-confusing knowledge on the correct use of sealants and adhesives with both professionals and the casual DIYer.
