Tiling the enigma that is Belsize Village

Belsize Village in London’s Camden Town has been described as both an enigma and an explanation. The name itself touches on the sense of magnificence and beauty that the district exudes and is derived from the Belsize House estate that dates back to the 16th century.

The charming semi-detached houses of Belsize Village, which have been home to famous people such as Tim Burton, Jude Law, Kate Moss and the Gallagher Brothers, are now a particularly desirable place to live. At the heart of the village, Godfrey London Details designed ten new apartments that have been created as an expression of luxury and the artistic mastery of the multi-award winning interior designer, Poggenpohl.

Caesar’s Portraits stone-effect porcelain stoneware has been installed within and outside these new apartments. The 60 x 60cm tiles in the Faro colour were installed on the exterior of the apartments. This tile represents the ever-changing beauty of nature while granting maximum design freedom.

The elegant Anima marble-effect stoneware in the polished Dark Emperador colour was selected to give the bathrooms an unmistakable style. The reinterpretation of concrete of the Gate collection in the subtle Breath colour was chosen for tiling the walls of the bathroom with harmony and originality, offering a refined and timeless look.
