The studio flooring of Dagbreek, a morning breakfast show in Afrikaans on kykNET, was provided by FloorworX.

The first weekday morning breakfast show in Afrikaans on South African television started on 05 November on kykNET (DStv Channel 144) and runs on weekdays between 06h00 and 08h00. Called Dagbreek (Daybreak), it contains inserts covering sport, entertainment, weather, traffic updates, news, as well as talk, lifestyle and agriculture inserts – and the studio flooring was provided by FloorworX.

FloorworX marketing manager Theresa Venter was contacted by executive producer Wim Steyn from Stark Studios regarding a possible floor sponsorship. Peter Geyer, FloorworX wood and laminate manager, together with Gino Devolder from Quick-Step, agreed to sponsor their magnificent Quick-Step Arte tiles with subtle V-grooves.

Quick-Step floors are carefully designed to mirror nature, showing realistic designs and varied wood and stone motifs you can see, and subtle surface structures you can feel.

In addition, Quick-Step is of premium quality – a stringently tested and carefully developed range of superior products complying with criteria that exceed all established quality standards.

Its special spill- and impact-resistant top layer also means that it is very easy to clean, and the Quick-Step maintenance system zips through dirt, leaving a beautiful floor to admire.

Not only do the designs and colours match superbly, the skirtings and profiles also provide the same excellent wear and impact resistance as the floor, and guarantee a seamless transition from floor to wall.
