Classen Intellectual Property (IP), an affiliate of the Classen Group, recently signed a strategic partnership agreement with flooring technology company Innovations4Flooring (I4F). I4F has thereby become a substantial shareholder in Classen IP and the brands look forward to creating new, innovative and sustainable flooring solutions for the market.
Classen currently holds a number of patents including Isowaxx, FoldDown locking solutions and the global trademark Megaloc, which is used by many different laminate flooring companies.

Flooring installations in South Korea
Classen’s new Ceramin based floor of Neo 2.0 and Sono, has recently been laid in the food court of the Hyundai Department store in Seoul, South Korea. More than 6000 visitors enter the court every single day subjecting the flooring to a tough stress test.
Winner of the Toom Sustainability Prize
Classen Group was honoured with the Toom Sustainability Prize for the second time last year. Toom is a leading DIY chain store group in Germany with more than 370 stores across the country. The winners are based on the results of an online survey at Toom Stores. Criteria such as innovation, reliability and ongoing product improvements are factors in determining the annual winners.
