Kirk Marketing has recently introduced patterned stainless steel profiles to the M.Trim range, giving specifiers more variety to meet their aesthetic and structural requirements.
Stainless steel profiles have become increasing popular amongst specifiers because of the strength they offer in protecting tiles and other flooring types from the wear and tear of pedestrian traffic, trolleys, cleaning equipment, beds, luggage carriers and other equipment used in commercial, government and hospital buildings, and these profiles have also been successfully used on walls.
The standard M.Trim range of stainless steel products is available in three different stainless steel patterns – Chequered, Dot and Oval – and bespoke stainless steel products can also be manufactured in these patterns.
The Chequered and Dot patterns are manufactured from Grade 304 stainless steel. The Oval pattern is manufactured from Grade 430 stainless steel and using this pattern increases the Grade 430 strength by 40%, because the oval profile contains a 3D pattern that increases the structural strength of the stainless steel sheet, which in turn strengthens the M.Trim profiles.
