Neolith has expanded its colour palette with four new colours, Iron Frost (satin finish), Pietra di Piombo (silk finish), Pietra di Luna (silk finish) and Strata (riverwash finish), in response to the market favouring neutral hues and natural motifs when it comes to interior design.

Natural hues and nature-inspired motifs are currently all the rage when it comes to the latest in interior design. In support of this trend, Neolith has introduced four new colours to its range of sintered compact surfaces, offering designers an ever wider choice.

Neolith’s expanded colour palette now includes Iron Frost (satin finish), Pietra di Piombo (silk finish), Pietra di Luna (silk finish) and Strata (riverwash finish), all of which are available in both 6mm and 12mm thick slabs.

Each new colour exhibits organic movement and patterning that is ideal for bringing texture to any interior or exterior design scheme.

While Strata’s stone-coloured, linear patterns are reminiscent of timber-like striations often seen in natural marble, Iron Frost has an almost ethereal look in its white-spectrum patterning. Pietra di Luna and Pietra di Piombo offer gentle, but moody motifs in a light and medium grey with Pietra di Piombo sporting dark chocolate lowlights across each slab.

Best stand at Decorex
Displayed at Decorex Durban in March and Cape Town in April, the Neolith stand was named ‘Best Stand’ at both exhibition. The new colours were presented as flooring, fireplace surrounds cladding, countertops, cabinet cladding and wall cladding, giving visitors to the stand a strong overview of the product’s capabilities.

“We made sure that our new products were beautifully displayed in a variety of applications, so we could really show and tell visitors what Neolith can do for them,” says Neolith’s general manager, Gavin Gilbert.

Sian Gutstadt, portfolio director of Decorex SA, was blown away by Neolith’s stand this year. “They showcased their products beautifully and we particularly enjoyed the high levels of interaction that visitors could enjoy, with fresh sushi and bespoke cocktails being served at the stand!

“Neolith was a deserving winner of the coveted best stand award and we are delighted with the value that they brought to the overall Durban show experience,” she says.

Applications galore
Neolith slabs are ideal for interior and exterior applications, be it wall cladding, flooring, backsplashes, paving, furniture cladding, countertops or ventilated facades. Strata is the first Neolith surface to offer a river-wash finish – an extremely rough texture to the touch, whilst retaining an avant-garde aesthetic.

Neolith will exhibit at Decorex Johannesburg at the Gallagher Convention Centre from 5 to 9 August 2016, where visitors can experience these new surfaces at the award-winning stand first-hand.
