Studio Animal, a design firm known for its eye-catching interiors, has transformed a top shoe brand, Munich Sports’, retail space for its collection of fashion-forward shoes into a dazzling life-size rainbow.

The store in Barcelona, Spain, is a large open space that has a hefty concrete column positioned right in the centre. Rather than hiding the column, the designers decided to transform it into the focal point. Shooting from the column are 20 different coloured slabs of paint that work together to create a dynamic and rainbow-like space.

The design was named Spectrum and completely redefines the traditional retail experience. The design is strong enough to stand alone as an art installation and certainly creates a memorable shopping experience. The chromatic colours equally help organise the shoe brand’s merchandise in a colour-forward and eye-catching manner.
