Vinyl has made a big comeback, resulting in a floor type that is frequently specified, and will undoubtedly continue to dominate flooring trends.
Luxury Vinyl Tiles/Planks (LVT/LVP) remain a growing trend, which is the opinion of Sasha Kozinsky from FINfloor. These floorcoverings imitate the look and feel of wood and can now be installed in areas with high moisture content, such as kitchens and bathrooms.
To accommodate these industry trends, FINfloor offers the industry 100% water-resistant Trio-loc Luxury vinyl tiles that are available in eight natural colours with a realistic-looking, deep-embossed PUR surface treatment to resemble natural timber.
“You can now have the look and luxury of wood in rooms exposed to elements that were previously ill-advised for real wood,” highlights Sasha. “The greatest advantage of vinyl is its sound- and impact-resistant properties, ensuring a floor is quiet and frequently specified for high-traffic areas in offices and homes.”
Trio-loc’s easy-to-install Unilin click system requires no glue and can be installed on any level surface. Furthermore, it can be walked on immediately after installation, simplifying an installation whilst minimising time away from one’s home or office.
“With a certified low level of VOC emissions and designed specifically to provide good indoor air quality, vinyl flooring is easy to maintain, tough, durable and making a big comeback,” concludes Sasha.
