Azure Interiors in India was approached to design and execute a stylish, modern farmhouse in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India. The combination of country and style was brought to life in the farmhouse’s collaborative atmosphere.

Welcoming you into the home, is a long-elongated passage styled with chevron black-and-white flooring, with a beautiful wooden ceiling in the passage.

Retro look

Softness and light welcome you into the living room, with the arch doors and windows being a distinctive element, along with the wooden flooring and the furniture’s floral upholstery. This brings colour, as the walls and ceilings are basic.

A space for living

The living area has two three-seater sofas, two wing chairs, a bench and a centre table that looks like a trunk.The centre sofa is flanked by two brown side tables, with arched corner shelves creating a focal point.

Textured walls add an edgy aspect to the dining space, with windows on all three sides welcoming the natural light, along with a chandelier cum fan.

A connecting kitchen breaks the neutral palette, with terrazzo flooring and sage green shutters. A recreational space in the centre provides a spa room and washroom.

In the bedroom, the bed has floral upholstery flanked by two hanging lights on each side. A printed rug brings life to the neutral space, with a combined washroom.

Functional design

The outside pool creates a luxury space, accentuating the ambiance of the farmhouse. The deck flooring allows a space where the family can host parties.

The designers took advantage of the open, functional space by connecting an open gym through the passage – connecting it to nature.
