New contract wallpaper ranges offer many spectacular decorating options for design professionals.
Design professionals today are spoilt for choice when it comes to wall finishes that are durable enough for commercial and hospitality projects.
While leaps and bounds were made in the design of wall coverings, both natural and manmade, very little changed when it came to contract wallpaper. The past year however has seen the introduction of stylish, on-trend contract wallpapers from leading international manufacturers such as J. Josephson, LSI and BN International.
Lima, Osaka, Delhi, Madras and Sao Paulo are the latest ranges that were launched in Europe in January. They are already available throughout Southern Africa, exclusively distributed by Wall Design.
Lima is textured, tactile and reminiscent of tiny mosaic tiles. The colour pallet has warm silvers and pearly whites that contrast with ice blues and rich terracotta colours.
Osaka is a subtly stressed woven silk that shimmers with flecks of gold, while Madras is a classic textured horizontal silk with silky slubs that catch the light, adding opulence. Delhi is a coordinating design for Madras which takes the textured horizontal silk and adds a subtle small-scale trellis effect. Colours range from neutrals to mocha, teal and raspberry red.
Sao Paolo is a sophisticated print mimicking silk, or is it velvet, or boucle? It is whatever you want it to be and the subtle colour combinations make coordinating a breeze.
“We are very proud to offer the next generation of contract wallpapers to South African design professionals,” says Jacques Lombard, director at Wall Design. “You can now have spectacular design and legendary durability of more than ten years, all rolled into one gorgeous product.”
