Safintra Namibia launches its first roofing operation in Windhoek, expanding the Safal Group’s roll forming operations to 12 countries in Southern and Eastern Africa.
Safintra, the roll-forming arm of the Safal Group, launched its new office in Windhoek at the end of October 2015 to better support local clients in Namibia.
With the addition of this new branch, the Safal Group’s operations now span 12 countries in Southern and Eastern Africa. Its 31 roofing operations cover all key Southern African Development Community (SADC) countries, with seven branches in South Africa, one in Namibia, and further operations in Zambia, Mozambique, Malawi, Angola, Botswana and Tanzania.
“The Safal Group is committed to supporting clients in all markets with a local roll-forming operation, which allows us to deliver sheeting fast and efficiently with little chance of damage from transportation or delays in cross-border logistics,” says Sally Stromnes, the Safal Group’s marketing manager.
“Most branches also offer drawing office services and expert technical advisory support before, during and after installation,” she adds.
Safintra bespoke profiles include Widedek, Trimflute (wide coverage pierced fix, ideal for cladding) as well as the Saflok concealed fix range (700mm and 410mm cover widths for different weather conditions) as well as Versatile, a sheet with premium tile-look aesthetics.
