Creating bespoke flooring requires attention to detail and the final finishing is no exception. Specifiers are often looking for unique detailing to meet the aesthetic details desired.
Using stainless steel has become increasingly popular with specifiers as it can achieve a variety of profile shapes such as top hats, angles, U-channels, lip channels, architraves and bespoke items that meet architect and designer specification.
Kirk’s M.Trim – Stainless Steel range offers a wide selection of, off-the-shelf items in a variety of heights. These include straight edges, square edges, round edges, corner protectors, listellos, internal skirtings, formable straight edges and more.
The finishes of the M.Trim – Stainless Steel range include polished, brushed and satin. Kirk recommends Grade 316 for use in coastal regions and highly corrosive conditions and Grade 430 for inland areas further than 20km from the coast.
The Stainless Steel Square Edge Corner Piece puts an end to sharp and dangerous mitred corners. Tile-in and the two versions of retrofit stair nosing for are ideally suited for use in both domestic and light commercial projects.
Kirk Décor has a 10mm wide pencil listello to complement Kirk Decor profiles, available in 14 colours – the Universal Tile Match designed to match and compliment 90% of Earth Tone and Neutral tile selections available on the market. 8 anodised colours and 6 specially formulated powder coated colours are available.
Kirk Décor’s range will be further enhanced with the introduction of 12mm thick profiles later this year.
