The aggregate is sorted, washed, fire-dried, sieved and bagged in an ISO:9001 and ISO:14001 certified plant. Where to use Urban and why
The areas of use are driveways and car parks, cycle and foot pathways, accessibility ramps, roof terraces, swimming pool surrounds, patios and entertainment areas, bus lanes, markings for road junctions and commercial and residential landscaping.
The features and benefits are that it drains 800 litres of water per m2 per min, reduces puddling and flooding, is exceptionally durable and fully SUDS compliant meaning no planning permission is required for installation.
Quartz Carpet URBAN is available in UV stable or non-UV stable versions, is highly decorative and aesthetically pleasing, hard wearing, low maintenance, slip-resistant, long-lasting and cost-effective.
An excellent alternative to paving or tarmac
Quartz Carpet URBAN is a great alternative to paving or tarmac finishes. The colours or finishes can be selected and blended to match the natural environment or surrounding areas. It is available in nine alluvial imported natural stone colours, four local natural stone colours and a full range of customisable polyurethane colours.
Often referred to as a wet pour hand-trowelled stone finish, the selected aggregates are blended with clear resins prior to installation and then trowelled to a smooth level finish. Design elements such as borders, logos, numbers or patterns can be incorporated stylishly into the area by using contrasting or similar colours.
