The manufacturer of Protectapeel temporary peelable protective coatings – UK-based Spraylat International – has announced the appointment of Peelable Coatings (Pty) Ltd as its new distributor in Africa for the entire Protectapeel product range.
Protectapeel is a weather resistant, peelable protective coating for protecting a number of non-porous substrates. The liquid coating is applied by spray or roller and dries to form a skin-tight plastic film that will protect the surface during construction or re-fit. Prior to project handover the coating is simply peeled by hand, leaving the surface looking and feeling like new.
Protectapeel is a water-based, environmentally friendly solution that can be safely disposed of, using no harmful chemicals.
Says Andrew Keir, managing director of Spraylat International, “We are delighted to have signed an agreement with Peelable Coatings. I would describe the two principals, Andre Blignaut and Ray McKenzie, as driven individuals who are all highly focused on developing Protectapeel in Africa. Collectively they bring with them a wealth of business skills and knowledge, all of which will help to promote the Protectapeel offering.”
Blignaut and McKenzie recently attended a training programme at Spraylat International head office in the United Kingdom. During the visit they took time out to visit the Protectapeel stand at Ecobuild, one of the UK’s top construction events, and completed the contract on the exhibition stand.
