Ceramiche Refin has released a new collection of wood-inspired porcelain tiles.
As an Italian company that has been active in international markets since 1962, Ceramiche Refin forms part of Gruppo Concorde. The new collection is called Tamashi – meaning “soul” in Japanese. It is the result of painstaking research to find the perfect graphic and colour balance.
Tasteful selection
The palette expands from the traditional woods to include seven colours that Refin carefully studied and ranges from light to dark, to give the collection a new modernity. Tamashi is offered in a 25x150cm sized plank.
Chosen to convey pleasant sensations, the names include sugar, vanilla, cream, tea, walnut, caviar and pepper.
Natural inspiration
Arguably, the highlight is the Leaf decoration tile range with its distinctive arch patterns. Depending on how it is placed, the patterns can produce multiple variations.
Available in a 60x60cm size tile, the three options combine shades from the Tamashi woods: Leaf Tea (cream and tea), Leaf Walnut (vanilla and walnut) and Leaf Pepper (sugar and pepper).
The result is a collection that takes mix and match to new levels, for sophisticated simplicity.
