
With an increased attendance, the team from Media in Africa Group (MIAG) were pleased to host the DAS CPD event in Nelspruit/ Mbombela.
The interactive agenda of speakers with time for questions from the delegates was informative and engaging. Sponsored exhibits gave the architects and designers the opportunity to learn about new products and services from industry leaders across the built environment.

Interim president of SAIA Mpumalanga, Nicholas Els delivered an update on what the local chapter of the institute are undertaking, and the benefits of membership.
Returning to the DAS stage, Asher Marcus from Hubo Studio delved into his topic, “Spaces as visionary as you are” referencing the iconic Redhill ELC project.
Another returning speaker, Riaan Hollenbach of The Grey Whippet, shared his Pretoria presentation with the gathering of Lowveld colleagues. His topic, “Not your usual client’ detailed his journey with an owner/ builder as a client.
Callie can der Merwe discussed COOOP’s groundbreaking envirohacking concept, and design ethos, in a video presentation from Australia.
