IID appoints two new Board Members

The African Institute of the Interior Design Professions (IID) recently appointed Sharon Nicolaci, Owner of Spegash Interiors and Denis Warren-Tangney, Director of Warren-Tangney Attorneys & Mediators to its Board of Directors. The IID institute is dedicated to promoting and maintaining expertise, sound business practice and professionalism in the interior design industry.

“My objective is to gain recognition for all members in the public space by promoting the IID through more media coverage and internet exposure. I want to make sure the public know the value of employing an IID Member and the values and benefits that the IID provides,” commented Sharon.

Denis says that improving recognition of the IID in the built environment is the driving goal behind his new appointment. “My vision for the IID includes increasing its recognition as a Professional Body, gaining the acceptance of the professions as well as the public, and ensuring that the IID eventually holds a professional accreditation in its own right,” said Denis.

The IID also announced that the Committee Members recently voted for a new logo and they hope the Members are as pleased with the new design as they are.
