A new three-phase power quality recorder was launched in South Africa.
The Fluke 1750 three-phase power recorder for power quality and monitoring of disturbances is now available locally through Comtest, Fluke’s authorised test and measurement distributor for South and Southern Africa.
It automatically and continuously records every power quality parameter and event on every power cycle for applications as diverse as:
• Long-term analysis to uncover hard-to-find or intermittent issues.
• Power quality surveys.
• Quality of service compliance.
• Benchmarking for equipment installation or commissioning.
The 1750 can be configured quickly and reliably via the ARCHOS 43 Internet tablet, and provides power quality measurements compliant with IEC61000-4-30 standards for the correct evaluation of voltage, current, power, harmonics and more. It captures every measurement with cross-channel and current triggering capture as well as voltage and current on three phases, neutral and ground.
Thresholds can be applied with Fluke Power Analyse Software to prevent missed information due to incorrect set-ups. The intuitive software allows for easy analysing of data and the generation of comprehensive reports with automated EN50160 reporting and compliance.
The 1750 features 5MHz, 8 000Vpk waveform capture, giving the user a detailed picture of even the shortest of events, while the SD memory card or 100BaseT high-speed Ethernet connection enables fast data retrieval.
