Besana Carpet Lab proudly announced that its Grand Hotel carpet is the winner of the Archiproduct Design Awards (ADA) in the finishes category. Inspired by the facades of historical hotels, the Grand Hotel collection is iconographic and full of character.
Hotel inspiration
Designed exclusively for Besana by Studiopepe, the collection is made up of three different patterns that draw from the interiors of atmospheric hotels, which have entered the collective imagination: Hotel Nacional, Hotel Overlook and Hotel Fairmont.
Intense colour
Neutral tones are the common thread of the three variants, all brightened up by touches of black and white, and by some colour accents. These include Klein blue but, above all, green – a very intense colour that can communicate with other selected ones, thanks to its enveloping tone.
Each pattern of this velvet-effect, polyamide carpeting has its own personality, but it can also be combined with other collection patterns for a surprising and very iconographic effect.
ADA 2023
The eighth edition of the awards aimed to celebrate the synergy between designers and brands, their creativity, innovation and sustainability. Above all, it aims to emphasise the emotional and functional power of a project, which, by means of new materials, shapes or functions, is able to revolutionise and improve the quality of life, for today and tomorrow.
The ADA are assigned in 13 product categories ranging from furniture to lighting, and from contract to building.

The patterns feature black and white, with intense green and Klein blue.
The iconographic Grand Hotel carpet collection is the ADA winner in the finishes category, with three variants that can be used alone or in combination with other collection patterns.
