Availability in several colours makes this range of sealants ideal for several applications.
High quality and durability are the characteristics that make the solvent-free, emulsion-based sealants in Den Braven’s Woodflex range ideal for use on parquet, cork, laminate, wooden and bamboo flooring and skirtings.
Woodflex is used to seal and fill gaps, cracks and joints where some movement capability (up to 8%) is required. In addition, Woodflex is fast-drying and is easy to sand and paint once fully cured.
Woodflex is also good for use around built-in cupboards and kitchen units and, according to Den Braven, should be part of every woodworker’s toolbox. It is available in a selection of six popular wood colours to aesthetically match and finish the desired look and feel. These colours include beech; cherry; imbuia; meranti; oak; and pine.
Furthermore, from a sustainability perspective, Woodflex is environmentally friendly with very low VOCs and virtually no odour, and conforms to the South African Green Building Council’s standards for architectural sealants.
Den Braven aptly describes the Woodflex range: “It is packaged in unique, exciting, transparent cartridges, making matching and colour identification both simple and efficient. It can be applied quickly and with ease by making use of a caulking applicator, and tooling off the sealant is a breeze.”
