Accompanied by a human table handing out muffins, the FLOORS in Africa and WALLS & ROOFS in Africa roadshow has once again created a stir at firms in Pretoria.
For FLOORS in Africa and its sister magazine, WALLS & ROOFS in Africa, it is all about the readers. The articles that we place, the products that we feature – it is all to make the lives of architects, designers, specifiers, property developers and every professional in the built environment a little bit easier.
This is why it is important for these two teams to engage with readers on a personal level, and what better way than to visit them in person and thank them for their loyal support and input?
Accompanied by a mobile coffee van, a human table and a good supply of muffins, the #floorsmag and #wallsmag teams set out on 20 July to spoil a few firms based in Pretoria. This time, the roadshow stops included:
Pentad Quantity Surveyors.
Studio 3 Design House.
Boogertman + Partners Architects.
Atterbury Property Holdings.
These firms welcomed the treats, and the human table that handed out the muffins attracted a lot of attention and sparked some interesting conversations. This provided an excellent opportunity for great networking and personal interactions.
While enjoying their coffee and muffins, the architects, quantity surveyors and property developers had the opportunity to subscribe to the magazines, print and online, and sign up for the DAS Conference, a CPD event that was held in August.
Goody bags filled with information and gifts from the sponsors, as well as a couple of magazine copies and a colouring book, compliments of Arcelor Mittal, were also snapped up fast.
A big thank you goes out to all the sponsors who helped to make the day a huge success. They were:
Mactool South Africa
Marley Building Systems
