How tolerant is an epoxy floor to water exposure?

Epoxy flooring is very tolerant to damp areas and even areas with continuous moisture, but any coating here will have a more difficult time than on areas that don’t have moisture issues. The best “assurance” that peel-ups won’t occur would be to use waterborne epoxy primer first, then use waterborne epoxy basecoat over it. The primer is a low-solids epoxy that sinks deep into the substrate to get a better “bite” onto the concrete, so the basecoat goes much further and has a more uniform sheen and build.
