Tile trims are being used to beautify tiles and mosaics and can also be used efficiently as corner protectors.

When it comes to enhancing the aesthetics of tiles or mosaics, it is becoming increasingly popular to make use of tile trims. In addition to the aforementioned, they also protect the edges of tiles and mosaics.

Some of these examples are the trims that are used with mosaics as corner protectors. The Aluminium Square Edge trim can be used with mosaics as corner protectors, but above and beyond its functional attributes, it also offers aesthetic benefits due to the fact that it can be anodised in a variety of colours or powder coated in natural colours with a textured finish.

This profile is available in different depths for different mosaics and tile types. The 4 in 1 aluminium trim is used as a corner protector for 4mm mosaics in a variety of anodised colours.

The primary function for the Aluminium Tile-In beading is to establish a bird’s beak look on columns and corners and to enable finishings that match the tiles thanks to the anodised or powder coatings.

In turn, Shadow-line listellos are used as dividers with both mosaics and tiles and are available in two widths; 9.5mm and 12.7mm , in a variety of anodised colours.

Normal listellos are available in aluminium in the form of a pencil listello, which is 10mm in width, and as tile-in listellos in 10mm, 20mm and 30mm widths that are used as dividers between tiles and mosaics. These are available in a variety of anodised colours. Kirk also has a range of polished, brushed and patterned stainless steel listellos for wall finishes.

Brass square bars can be used to create a contrast in the look and feel of floor tiles while formable straight tile edge trims made of either aluminium, stainless or brass can be used by designers and specifiers to act as dividers for curves they can create with floor tiles.

Patterned Stainless Tile-in corner protectors and edge trims are used to add aesthetic value to columns and corner finishes, while at the same time offering unrivalled performance qualities.
