Combining the appearance of hardwood with the benefits of SPC’s

FINfloor’s Diamond Core Rigid core vinyl planks are becoming increasingly popular among architects, specifiers, and designers. Not only are they durable and perfect for the South African climate and market, but they also offer very good stain, fade, and wear resistance.

When looking for a flooring product that combines the beauty of hardwood, the durability of LVT and the speed and ease of click installation, look no further than this range. The vinyl planks are manufactured with a calcium-carbonate core mixed with limestone, which results in a dimensionally stable and durable floor that outperforms other products in hot and wet climates. The stone plastic composite, or SPC, has many advantages, such as being extremely economical and practical, making this product a good choice for your next project.

Here are some of the reasons why the Diamond Core Rigid core vinyl planks continue to be specified on projects:

Water proof, fire retardant and stable in any climate
The vinyl planks are 100% waterproof with very good anti-slip, anti-mildew and antibacterial qualities. The high-density and rigid core, made using a limestone-based composite core make the tiles impact and indentation resistant. It is fire retardant and can extinguish a limited surface flame in 5 seconds without producing toxic or harmful gases.

Diamond Core Rigid core vinyl planks demonstrates dimensional stability that is unsurpassed in the market and it performs optimally in any climate. No acclimatisation is required and you don’t have to worry about any adverse expansion issues in direct sunlight. These vinyl tiles are more heat-and-cold resistant than any of their predecessors and can withstand the temperature differences from -3℃ up to 50℃, making Diamond Core ideal for Southern Africa.

Easy to install and clean
Due to the strong and easy to join locking system, the ultra-stable material and increased joint strength can be installed over most existing hard surfaces. With a rigid core and 4-sided click locking system boasting an average locking pull strength of 500kg/lin.m, Diamond core can be installed faster than a traditional click system. Enhanced protection against scuffs and abrasions with a tough, transparent and anti-abrasive PUR wear layer also makes it easy to clean.

Eco-friendly and improved indoor environment
The production process requires less energy to manufacture and releases lower emissions and is a great option for eco-friendly consumers that want to reduce their carbon footprint. It is manufactured without the use of formaldehyde. The product has undergone strict international testing and has been certified as 100% recyclable and 100% plasticizer-free. It also inhibits the growth of surface mold and mildew while discouraging the growth of hidden mold beneath the floor. The IXPE Underlayment Improves sound absorption for a quieter footfall.
