Summumstudio® and Neolith presented “A reflection of who we are” in a genuine ode to nature at Casa Decor 2024.
The ephemeral installation, “A reflection of who we are”, was designed by Summumstudio for Neolith, and presented in the gardens of Palacio de la Trinidad, where the manufacturer’s products blended into the natural setting.
Nature as inspiration
The installation contextualised Neolith’s creative process, highlighting nature’s role as a permanent source of inspiration. In the words of José María Gimeno, chief executive officer and founder of Summumstudio, it was “an installation-cum-metaphor”.
Its mirror-clad skin captured the beauty of the natural surroundings, re-reflecting it inside the immersive interior space where Neolith’s products became one with nature. The outcome was a unique experiential installation, where visitors discovered a forest in which the passing of time was evoked through light and water.
Environmental commitment
In this inspirational conceptual space, Neolith’s sintered stone merged with the background setting, creating an invisible forest of veins. The ephemeral space was an ode to nature’s role as a continual sense of inspiration, underscoring Neolith’s commitment to the environment.
With this charismatic, groundbreaking space, the palace’s old gardens were transformed into an allegory for nature where Neolith’s sintered stone blended in harmoniously, contributing to the calm, restful and natural setting.
The old pond in Palacio de la Trinidad’s gardens took on a whole new dimension, clad in pale grey sintered stone in an accolade to the water bestowed by Mother Nature.
