updating facades

Great architecture has always been coupled with construction innovation that makes the impossible possible.

From the arches that made gothic cathedrals possible in the Middle Ages, to high-strength steel and post-tensioned concrete making impossible spans possible in the 20th century.

Innovative mounting system

EJOT, a specialist in advanced fastening technology, presents Crossfix, a new innovation that makes the impossible possible. Crossfix is a stainless-steel facade mounting system.

Its strength allows for loading and flexibility that were not previously possible, while its durability ensures longevity and safety.

New possibilities

The mounting system is suitable for forming fixed or sliding points, and for accommodating horizontal and vertical support profiles.

The Crossfix mounting system means new possibilities for the design of buildings. It can be designed with the capacity to easily replace the facade of a building as aesthetic trends change – allowing for building envelopes that adapt to trends without complicated and costly alterations.

It promises building envelopes that are not only visually appealing, but that also generate energy for the building. Crossfix can be designed to fasten solar photovoltaic (PV) or PV facade systems such as Skala, with several PV facade projects already completed using Crossfix.

Material versatility

updating facades

EJOT can couple the Crossfix system with a wide range of facade mounting solutions. It can mechanically fasten:
  • Alucobond.
  • High-pressure laminates.
  • Steel and aluminium sheets.
  • Masonry and stonework.
  • Timber.
  • Photovoltaic panels.

An innovative solution from EJOT is versatile and durable,

delivering loading and flexibility that were not previously considered possible.
