The Concept Collection by Casalgrande Padana, delivers a contemporary look. 

The new collection offers a fresh take on smooth concrete.  

As a material once used almost exclusively for industrial settings and environments, it has gradually gained ground in both retail spaces and home interiors.  

It is popular for its plain, austere appearance marked by cloudy shading.  

The concept extends the wide variety of porcelain stoneware tiles developed by Casalgrande Padana over the years and the continual research carried out by its laboratories.  

Homogenous spaces 

Compared to traditional smooth concrete flooring, the Concept Collection introduces the opportunity to use the same finish on walls.  

Different tile sizes offer the possibility of creating inviting single-material looks, alternating the colours from one surface to another or opting for the same colour throughout. 

The Concept Collection carefully interprets the material character of concrete, combined with the durability and performance of porcelain stoneware.  

It features the effects and shading characteristics of the concrete laying and smoothing process.  

Shades and sizing  

The new Concept Collection comes in seven plain colours, comprising both the grey tones of concrete (concept white, concept greige, concept grey and concept black) and three other colours (concept green, concept blue and concept red), that substantially enrich the palette. 

All Concept colours are available in the sizes 20 x 20cm, 30 x 30cm, 30 x 60cm, 60 x 60cm, 60 x 120cm and 120 x 120cm.

Tile specifications 

The tiles include options in 9mm and 20mm thicknesses, depending on the sizing. Finishes include the R10 natural matt finish, R11 bush-hammered finish, a polished finish and in the larger-sized tiles, a satin finish is also available.  

In addition to the special trims of bullnose, step tread, assembled step tread and assembled corner piece, Concept offers décor tiles, engraved options, a cannetè ribbed decor and mosaics for all the colours in the collection.  

A 3D decoration, featuring a surface with a hollowed-out centre and a 23,5 x 20,5cm hexagonal tile complete the range.

Ecological compliance 

Concept is made entirely from natural raw materials, making it compliant with ecological requirements.  

The tiles in the collection are long-lasting, non-absorbent, non-allergenic, fire-resistant and antibacterial, thanks to the Bios Antibacterial® technology, which is available on request.  

This rich variety of sizes is obtained using a closed-cycle manufacturing process. Sophisticated anti-pollution equipment allows all the components to be recycled and reused, in keeping with the guiding values of the circular economy, and with virtually zero emissions and dispersion. 

The versatility of the sizes, shades, finishes and decorations of the Concept Collection is suitable for creating unique living spaces, both indoors, and outdoors.
