The Media in Africa Group (MIAG) has officially launched its inaugural FLOORS in Africa Expo, scheduled for May 2025. 

MIAG has a long history of hosting its CPD-accredited DAS events at locations across South Africa.  

The FLOORS in Africa Expo is the latest event in its calendar.  

It is billed as the premier African B2B trade show for the flooring industry, targeting industry leaders, architects, developers, buyers and specifiers. 

In Africa, for Africa 

Taking place on 15 and 16 May 2025 at the Indaba Hotel in Fourways, Gauteng, the FLOORS in Africa Expo promises to bring together local manufacturers and suppliers of flooring systems, adhesives, installation tools and equipment and ancillary products for the Southern African market. 

Niche flooring event 

The FLOORS in Africa Expo will feature specialised demos, flooring industry talks and supplier exhibits over the two days.  

The chief executive officer and editor-in-chief of the Media in Africa Group, Marlene van Rooyen, explains: “The FLOORS in Africa Expo is exactly what the market has been asking for and caters to a specific gap in the market.
