Marley Building Systems has launched a ten-year warranty on all its systems solutions. The Marley InSpec warranty will be valid on all specially designed project packs put together by Marley Building Systems’ specification and technical teams for commercial, industrial and residential applications. A dedicated technical advisor will be assigned to each project and will call in at each stage of the process.
“Already, only the highest quality components are used for our systems solutions, engineered and tested to work together and surpass building performance requirements,” Sese Matlapeng, Marley Building Systems’ marketing manager, points out.
“The Marley InSpec warranty is therefore the cherry on the top – our assurance of dedicated specification, technical and sales support, as well as on-site training and assistance. We want our ten-year warranty to provide our customers with the peace of mind that Marley Building Systems is with them every step of the way – from concept to finalisation,” she adds.
Dry construction offering
According to Matlapeng, as the South African subsidiary of Belgian industrial group, Etex, Marley Building Systems is continuing to make strong inroads in the South African dry construction market with the intention of becoming a benchmark in this field.
With a unique and competitive offer that capitalises on today’s alternative building trends, the company aims to redefine building methodologies in South Africa as the country transitions from traditional construction to more economical, lightweight and environmentally-friendly materials.
“Our systems have consistently presented proven performance, durability and ease of installation,” she says. “These are all very important requirements for architectural professionals working to produce sustainably sound built environments.”
The four product brands that fall under Marley Building Systems are: Siniat (gypsum ceilings and partitions), Kalsi (fibre cement materials), Equitone (high-density, fibre cement, through-coloured facade materials) and Promat (high-performance insulation and passive fire-protection solutions).
In South Africa, Etex has developed a strategy based on four core businesses: Cladding and building boards in fibre cement and plaster, roofing materials, passive fire protection and high-performance insulation. The Etex group is more than 100 years old and enjoys a worldwide network with a strong local presence in 42 countries, including 99 companies, 120 factories and more than 17 000 staff.
Sustainably manufactured from natural, recyclable materials, under rigorous quality-controlled conditions, Marley Building Systems’ products meet local and international quality standards as well as green building requirements. Each system solution is designed to meet the practical and performance needs of new buildings and refurbishment projects for all market sectors, namely residential, commercial, retail, education, hospitality and health.
Marley Building Systems is also the only local manufacturer with the SANS 266 SABS stamp of approval for all its plasterboard. The eco-friendly product also holds the esteemed Global Green Tag Level B and LCARate Bronze certifications.
