Belgotex recently launched a new nature-inspired tufted tile range called Terrain that is ideal for heavy commercial spaces. The concept behind the carpet is how forward-thinking designs, materials and systems might use nature to transform challenge into change.
The colour and pattern of the earth’s surfaces is celebrated in this new floorcovering. The wide spectrum of colours shifts fluidly, with each transition through the gradient seamlessly blending into the next. This way, the range mimics the same optical phenomenon witnessed in nature. The planet serves as a key reference in the carpet, with the colours mimicking optical phenomenon that can be witnessed in nature. Terrain displays a full kaleidoscope of the planet’s vast beauty, where individual colours have the confidence to stand on their own.
The irregular contours and seemingly torn and unfinished designs embrace organic imperfection and is the element that sets the new range apart from other designs on the market. The graded effect lends interesting texture and a subtle pattern to the floor, created for heavy commercial applications. There are twenty colours in the range – from resilient sunbaked clay and earthy tones to subdued mossy and forest greens, calming blues, rich purples, moody greys and variations of these shades in-between. The planks can be laid in ashlar, brick or herringbone pattern.
