Saint-Gobain Gyproc awarded for safety performance It’s a proven fact, safety matters to leading interior building solutions group, Saint-Gobain Gyproc South Africa. In 2013, the company achieved an impressive Zero TF1 and TF2 safety rating and as a result has been nominated to receive two “best safety” awards from their global head, Saint-Gobain worldwide.
Gyproc SA attributes its success in terms of safety in the workplace to their dedicated employees who put safety into practice through their ongoing support of the corporate commitment to the fact that safety is everyone’s responsibility.
Gyproc SA has been awarded “The best safety performance for a large business” award and “The best safety improvement for a large business” award. The company has shown a major improvement in their safety rating, to an impressive “zero” incidents reported in 2013.
“Workplace safety is a full-time priority for the business, which has set zero work related accidents and illnesses into our long-term objectives,” explains Francois Nel, General Manager: Operations at Saint-Gobain Gyproc.
