Macsteel’s Novotexi 440 was specified for the extension to the Rosebank Mall, but what made this project historical and indeed a proud event, is that the Novotexi Mill was lifted by a crane approximately 60 metres high onto the roof structure – a first for Macsteel.
It has been six months since Macsteel Roofing acquired superior concealed fixed technology by introducing Novotexi 440 to its product range. Whilst there are many players in the market offering concealed fixed profiles, Macsteel Roofing has taken the bold step to be in the forefront and a market leader when it comes to offering concealed fixed roofing solutions to clients, engineers and specifiers.
Novotexi 440 has become a brand of choice and many leading architects and developments regard Novotexi 440 as a primary choice. No surprise then that Novotexi was specified for the extension to the Rosebank Mall.
What makes this project historical and prestigious, is that the Novotexi Mill was lifted by a crane approximately 60 metres high onto the roof structure – a first for Macsteel.
No doubt there were some nervous moments overlooking the mill hanging meters up in the air, but with precise manipulation by the crane driver, it safely got to roll form 5 400m² of Zincalume steel into a superb Novotexi 440 concealed-fix profile.
WHBO was the main contractor and the roofing contractor was The Roofing Guarantee. Novotexi 440 will withstand very high negative wind up-lift in adverse weather conditions and the Rosebank Mall’s roof will be a proud benchmark and display of future abilities, making Macsteel Roofing a true market leader.
