Nouwens Carpets officially opened their new showroom on 31 May 2018. Situated in the Coricraft Building in Kramerville, Johannesburg, the new showroom cleverly showcases their diverse range of residential, commercial and artificial grass ranges within the three lifestyle categories of home, work and play.
The new showroom has bright wall decals to accentuate the multiple carpet ranges on display. The interior décor also tells a story about how the company has woven its way into people’s lives, thanks to the iconic products and attention to detail in their flooring systems.
“As the demand for broadloom wall-to-wall carpeting has steadily declined over the years, Nouwens Carpets has taken the strategic approach to remain a leader in this space by focusing more attention on growing our extensive commercial carpeting and artificial landscaping offerings,” said Chairman of Nouwens Carpets, Oscar Grobler, at the opening.
Trend forecaster, Dave Nemeth, gave a keynote presentation about the importance of looking forward and thinking about the future. This aligns with Nouwens Carpet’s strategy of breaking away from the traditional mould of selling purely local products to securing partnerships with leading international brands like Tarkett and Modulyss, which it has achieved over the past two years. As a result of these partnerships, the company now also sells landscape turf.
The full range of Nouwens Carpets – residential, commercial and artificial turf – is on display at the showroom. Helpful and knowledgeable staff are on site to assist visitors with their flooring specifications.
