Belgotex has been a leader in the flooring industry for 35 years and has a healthy export market for high-end residential, corporate and commercial flooring. Testament to the company’s innovative approach to business is the recent rebranding of their mother-brand from Belgotex Floors to Belgotex, and the subsequent rebranding of the company’s Sport and Grass brands, previously known as Greenfields and Duraturf respectively.

Naturally, with a new brand comes a new and modern look with products to match. The recent introduction of five new carpet ranges, one residential (Softology) and four commercial (Cast, Prime, Fringe and Hard Graft), further showcases Belgotex as a trendsetter in the flooring and design space.

Softology is the company’s ultra-soft carpet range made with new fibre technology. The broadloom carpet delivers distinctive hues that disrupt the neutral monotony that often dominates the flooring industry. The range comes in three grades of pile height: 8mm, 11mm and 13mm.

Cast (as seen in the main image) is a broadloom carpet collection defined by its concrete-inspired pattern, colour and design. It is available in two designs – Stripped and Exposed – with Stripped lending itself to the rugged nature of raw concrete, while Exposed is understated and takes after the subtle, industrial finish of solid cast concrete.

Prime is a tastefully textured 50x50cm carpet tile that adds a pop of colour to breathe new life into commercial spaces. This tufted multi-scroll loop pile construct has an organic look and feel and is available in a modern palette of five warm brights and five rich neutrals.

Recently recoloured Fringe has been created with pops of Prime’s palette and both ranges share the commode multi scroll texture.

Hard Graft is available in tiles or planks in two striking designs to infuse resilient texture and attitude into the modern workplace. It comes in four colourways that serve as a canvas for trendy design.

Belgotex’s ongoing Green Journey, which depicts the company’s commitment to sustainability, has seen Belgotex employ various natural resource conservation practices that have earned the company many sustainability accolades and have resulted in the manufacture of more superior quality products.

Belgotex products are environmentally friendly and are manufactured in their green factory – South Africa’s first 6 Star industrial building – ensuring they meet the requirements for your next green building. The products are also made using a 100% solution-dyed yarn production process, which gives a stain proof result. This waterless process ensures that the product retains its natural colour, is bleach-resistant and doesn’t fade over time.

Some of the products are also made using raw materials derived from post-industrial and post-consumer waste, and the needlepunch ranges are made with a blend of polypropylene and recycled eco-fibre (manufactured using post-production waste).

Belgotex is also GreenTag certified with a “Level A” GreenRate certification that ensures specifiers receive maximum points for green building when specifying a Belgotex product.
