Toronto’s CN Tower

In 2010, the American Society of Civil Engineers selected Toronto’s CN Tower as one of their favourite Wonders of the Modern World.

At 553,3  metres, the communications and observation CN Tower in Toronto was the world’s tallest free-standing structure on land in the world, a record it held for 31 years before the 828m Burj Khalifa usurped it on 12 September  2007.
