Can rugs metaphysically create revitalising oases of tranquillity? Manufacturer and exporter of machine-made rugs, Prado Rugs, thinks so. The company hails from the shadow of the Egyptian pyramids and they showcased their BioGeometry rugs at DOMOTEX 2019.
The essence of BioGeometry lies in harnessing subtle energies and using special techniques to generate balance and harmony in life, for instance through certain constellations of shapes, colours and numbers, among many other things. BioGeometry aims to create oases of healing – comparable with the spiritual sites all over the world that humans seek out to re-energise themselves as if from a mystical power supply.
Dr Karim Ibrahim, an architect and philosopher, has spent over four decades working on BioGeometric principles. His goal is to develop metaphysical concepts for use in practical and applied science. The BioGeometry-inspired rugs from Prado Rugs are designed to create a tranquil environment within interior spaces by finding a balance between the left and right hemispheres of the brain.
Independent scientific studies have confirmed the positive health effects of BioGeometric shapes on the numerous biological systems inherent in humans, animals and even plants. The company has announced that people experiencing this collection of rugs for the first time reported a heightened state of awareness combined with improved cognitive functioning and powers of concentration. Skeptics were warmly invited to sample the effects of the BioGeometric rugs at the most recent instalment of DOMOTEX in Hannover.
